Tamiya Bigwig — 1/10 RC Buggy Re-Release Kit (47330)

The Tamiya Bigwig (47330) is one of the most distinctive cars Tamiya have ever produced. Released in July 1986 to mark the 10th anniversary of Tamiya's first RC, the Bigwig was the first Tamiya kit with bodywork designed by an outside hand — Japanese race car designer and team owner Takuya Yura. The result was unforgettable: aerodynamic, slightly menacing, and unlike anything else in the era.

This is the modern re-release, faithful to the 1986 original with subtle modern refinements. Rack-and-pinion steering (unique to this model), distinctive Aerodish wheels, and shaft-driven 4WD make for a driving experience that still feels surprisingly sharp 40 years on.

What you'll need to drive it
