The Tamiya Subaru Brat in Blue Edition (47413) is one of the most charming kits Tamiya have ever made. The full-size Subaru Brat — Brumby in some markets — was a quirky 1970s ute that found a cult following everywhere it went, and Tamiya's re-released RC version in this dedicated blue colour scheme is just as full of character.

This is a 1/10 RWD scale RC kit. The polycarbonate body sits on a faithful Brat-inspired chassis, with the rear bed and roll bar styling preserved exactly as collectors remember them. It's not a race winner and it's not trying to be — it's a personality piece you'll drive once and immediately want to repaint.

What you'll need to drive it

A 2-channel radio and servo, ESC (check kit contents), 7.2V battery pack and compatible charger. We stock all of these and we're happy to put a combo together over the phone or in-store. Build tools: hobby knife, side cutters, hex drivers, and a hairdryer if you're going to do a custom paint job.
