The Tamiya Wild Willy 2 (58242) is pure RC joy. Wide wheels, tall stance, expressive driver figure, and a chassis tuned to pop wheelies on demand. It's a Tamiya original — there's nothing else quite like the Wild Willy in any other catalogue — and decades after first release it still owns the bash spot wherever it shows up.

This is one of the few RC kits where the goal isn't lap times or jumps. The goal is a wheelie that lasts five seconds, then ten, then the entire length of the driveway. It's brilliant for kids, brilliant for grown-ups who need to remember why they got into the hobby, and brilliant as a gift.
